Wednesday, April 12, 2006 Like the song tht made Black-eyed Peas famous, i would just like to ask Where is the Love?? Got bitten by the stupid depression bug while i was in school no less! damn... and to make things worse, I couldn't find a place to release my feelings and even at cca I wasn't able to find an outlet... Situation: 4 sections in guitar ensemble, I just HAD to pick the one section tht had so many signing up for it too... worse, I was so happy to be in Section 1, i actually learnt the ENTIRE score for Can't Help Falling In Love and just when I had (Shi Hui too), Wan Yee tells us tht we have to be transferred to Section 2... It's not like I won't try, coz we really did play it, it's just tht there was NO MELODY or TUNE at all and how were we to actually enjoy the learning process?? We really did our best and tried to placy, but we were so miserable forcing ourselves to learn it tht in the end we HAD to ask for a transfer out of Section 2 and if things had gone out well, then you'll probably won't see this post... Actually, I don't really hate those girls for refusing to switch with us, coz if it was me I wouldn't want to change too but then it's so unfair! We had already learnt the entire song and they didn't want to place us in section 1!! Yes, I sound like a stupid idiot, but because I was so bummed out the whole day made me more senstive than ever and we had to ask Wan Yee for a transfer out to ANYWHERE whichever section would be good, as long as it wasn't section 2, but she most probably found us not only irritating but troublesome too... haiz... I'm not trying to be difficult, but I really can't enjoy section 2 and my feelings for it can no longer be described as anger or sadness or even disappointment but I'm starting to find it hard, not musically-wise but rather extremely strenuous, exhaustive, tiring whatever word you can think of... it was just so hard to make me like tht piece... haiz... Someone's going to talk to Kevin abt the matter and ask abt our transfer. I really hope tht I can get out of section 2, coz i think people on public buses are really not used to seeing a tearing student staring blankly into space.... Where is the love!! I count the seconds till i meet you... just like you counting the seconds to your death... 7:59 PM |
