Sunday, June 11, 2006 Came back from SMUN and i don't care, die die i MUST go back there. Things were SOOO terrible! Things would haf been SOOO much better had i know what to say... reality? I don't know WHAT THE HELL THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT!! AhhhH!!! It was like a living hell, we SRJCians (i don't know abt the rest from the other comms...) but those at the UNCSD Committee meetings, we really understood the meaning of "silent as the tomb" Hwa Chong Institute dominated the entire place alongside the other institutes... The only thing i could do was propose the motion to suspend the meeting... stupid... Never felt so stupid in my entire life, can't even say anything and worse was when i FINALLY had something to say... the issue had already been brought up -_-III... I MUST go back next year, I haf to. Anyways, on a lighter note I've decided to put up some of the pics tht were taken there. I will not comment on those tht were taken of me by the stupid NUS photographer or what i was doing on social night.     All in all, it was a really enriching experience and i can't say rewarding- since i can honestly say tht i hadn't put in as much effort as i know i should haf-. so it's only right i didn't reap anything from this. However, SMUN '06 really taught me something and I hope i'll be able to go back again next year and hopefully not snivelling and contributing to the air + noise pollution of the place wif my ear-splitting coughs. I hope that the other SR delegates had a good time and it was a pleasure working wif everyone in the UNCSD committee and I hope tht I'll be posted back there again. P.S Next year I haf to play smart, DON'T bring a lousy trolley luggage, wear comfortable shoes(i.e. court shoes tht give you tons of blisters), DON'T bring a laptop (tht serves no purpose on this trip whatsoever) and if i am bringing my cam to ACTUALLY charge it or bring my charger along... -_-III... haiz... I count the seconds till i meet you... just like you counting the seconds to your death... 3:23 AM |
